I see what you did there.

[identity profile] redrisngphoenix.livejournal.com 2007-09-13 05:06 am (UTC)(link)
You did something you didn't do last game.

[identity profile] tobethemiracle.livejournal.com 2007-09-13 05:10 am (UTC)(link)
Said I was a sheep in the first round? I am.

[identity profile] redrisngphoenix.livejournal.com 2007-09-13 05:17 am (UTC)(link)
I wasn't gonna call you on it - most people usually say they are at some point, but you didn't last game, and it'd be bad for everyone to know. And also bad for you to establish that as a precident.

So what do you think so far?

[identity profile] tobethemiracle.livejournal.com 2007-09-13 05:24 am (UTC)(link)
That's because last round I was a wolf. It'd be a lie for me to say -- oh! You ... think I'm going to play again?

Right now? I want to punch Naesala in the face.

[identity profile] redrisngphoenix.livejournal.com 2007-09-13 05:35 am (UTC)(link)
Well, if you do, it wouldn't do for you to have your cards on the table at the beginning of the game like that. Besides, if I said anything in public, you'd get eaten for sure.

Err, yeah - nice of him to 'help' with the clue, huh? Lady Momoko's also raising my suspicions.

[identity profile] redrisngphoenix.livejournal.com 2007-09-13 05:54 am (UTC)(link)
She was around the entire time we were trying to figure out the clue. Not really doing anything, just. Making one or two comments, until Claire finally figured it out at the end.

She's not really commented much elsewhere, either.

[identity profile] tobethemiracle.livejournal.com 2007-09-13 06:01 am (UTC)(link)
Me neither, though. Just because you're quiet doesn't really mean anything. Not yet. Although she's in the clue and we're going to have to oust someone.

[identity profile] redrisngphoenix.livejournal.com 2007-09-13 06:09 am (UTC)(link)
Well, I mean like here (http://community.livejournal.com/cryfuckuwolf/177569.html?thread=18827681#t18827681) - she'd been around while we were figuring it out, didn't contribute, and then that's all she had to say? There was also this over here (http://community.livejournal.com/cryfuckuwolf/177569.html?thread=18814881#t18814881), where she tells me I'm wrong, but doesn't really say why or give any better method of finding the real answer.

True - and I'd rather oust someone who didn't contribute first than someone who did. Even though wolves have been known to solve clues to gain brownie points or look like they're helping, Lady Claire doesn't strike me as that type.

[identity profile] tobethemiracle.livejournal.com 2007-09-13 06:21 am (UTC)(link)
Claire said that if it turned out she was a wolf, I'd be let off the hook to take her out on a date (http://community.livejournal.com/cryfuckuwolf/177569.html?thread=18751393#t18751393). I don't think she's the type of girl who uses people like that, especially now she knows that I don't.

Why couldn't that Hiromi girl be the wolf, though?

[identity profile] redrisngphoenix.livejournal.com 2007-09-13 06:27 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, it looks like she backed you into a date there.

I played with her last time she played, and she's acting the same - she wasn't a wolf her last game, either, and I think she'd be happier as one. She started out pretty grumpy.

[identity profile] tobethemiracle.livejournal.com 2007-09-13 06:31 am (UTC)(link)
Sure looks that way.

I don't know about that. Being a wolf's frustrating too. Although I do think that Momoko and Hiroin are the two more suspicious of the three named in the clue.

[identity profile] redrisngphoenix.livejournal.com 2007-09-13 06:34 am (UTC)(link)
It was for you, because you're honest. But not everyone is like that. I can say personally, that being a wolf makes me happier than being a sheep - Lady Hiromi seems like that type, too.

[identity profile] tobethemiracle.livejournal.com 2007-09-13 06:38 am (UTC)(link)
You like to know things, and dislike being in the dark?

[identity profile] redrisngphoenix.livejournal.com 2007-09-13 06:40 am (UTC)(link)
Exactly - the more I know, the better able I am to tell what's about to happen, and what my next move should be.

[identity profile] tobethemiracle.livejournal.com 2007-09-13 06:47 am (UTC)(link)
I'm told if you're not eaten in the first round, that I'm to suspect you as a wolf.

[identity profile] redrisngphoenix.livejournal.com 2007-09-13 06:49 am (UTC)(link)
Or that the wolves are incredibly inexperienced. But I've been lasting till the third night lately when I'm a sheep!

Also, didn't I just do something I told you not to do last game?

[identity profile] tobethemiracle.livejournal.com 2007-09-13 06:59 am (UTC)(link)
You're trusting me too much, so when this post gets unlocked, we'll be suspected as wolves in collusion.

[identity profile] redrisngphoenix.livejournal.com 2007-09-13 07:11 am (UTC)(link)
Not necessarily - I won't unlock this till the end of the game. If we need to check anyone, or think anyone else is a sheep, we can make a new post.

No, didn't I tell you not to make locked posts?

[identity profile] tobethemiracle.livejournal.com 2007-09-13 07:16 am (UTC)(link)
I thought you had to reveal posts every round. My round must have been atypical then -- the one I shepherded anyway.

You did, but given how I'm the second least experienced player, they might be a necessary evil. Last round there were more inexperienced players.

[identity profile] redrisngphoenix.livejournal.com 2007-09-13 07:24 am (UTC)(link)
Nope, never heard of that.

It's especially important if you're a wolf not to start them - if people know you well, they'll be able to pin you down easier, and it's a lot harder to carry on in a locked post. For sheep, on the other hand, well... you saw what Lady Matsumoto did to us last round in a locked post.

The only drawback to them for sheep is getting suckered into one with a wolf - luckily, most wolves are either smart enough or cautious enough not to go out of their way to start them, with few exceptions.

[identity profile] redrisngphoenix.livejournal.com 2007-09-13 12:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Boyan - he likes to keep tabs on me if he's a wolf, so he'll start one to keep an eye on me. Then, if I get suspicious of him, he'll eat me.

[identity profile] tobethemiracle.livejournal.com 2007-09-13 08:07 pm (UTC)(link)
You think he's a wolf then?

[identity profile] redrisngphoenix.livejournal.com 2007-09-13 11:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Wait, who?

If you mean Naesala, then yes, and a horribly obvious one at that. No one on earth is that dumb.
